Nu Skin is a multi level marketing company committed to selling and distributing skin and hair care products made with wholesome ingredients. It must be said at the start that this company does, in fact, develop innovative products that support the health and longevity of skin and hair, and like most MLM companies, Nu Skins products are fantastic!

Nu Skin is a massive company boasting immense revenues reaching in upwards of a billion dollars. With distributors in no less than six continents, Nu Skin has reached a truly global market, and there is little concern that the company will be going out of business anytime soon!

But Who Actually Makes The Money?

Compensation plans amongst traditional MLM companies, although they vary, all tend to play by the same set of rules. Nu Skin is no exception. Whilst they claim to have the best compensation plan in the industry, one must not be sold on this headline alone, as most every MLM company I research lays claim to this title.

There are two ways of receiving income from Nu Skin, one being through retail markups on sales of products purchased at wholesale prices, and the other by way of sponsoring reps into your team and having them do the same, thus creating the famous "pyramid" template.

Do not be fooled, however. The majority of income from these amazing products goes back to the company - not to the distributors. While there are some extremely successful people in the Nu Skin organization, many, if not most distributors fail to create a substantial income from this venture.

Why So Many Nu Skin Reps Fail

As with many MLM companies, Nu Skin recommends advertising your new business endeavor to your warm market - your friends and family. This involves inviting people you know to meetings held at hotels or churches, and like many Nu Skin reps, you may find - if you're willing to go this route - success may follow in the first 2-4 months.

However, be warned that many people in this situation will begin to struggle after the first few months as the well of friends, family members and associates begins to run dry, leaving them scratching their heads as to where to begin looking for new business.

In Conclusion

When all the dust settles, reports that Nu Skin is a scam simply aren't true. You'll always have frustrated reps making claims to a scam, but in this case, I believe Nu Skin is a very legitimate home business, with an 'average' to 'above average' compensation package. As long as you go with your eyes wide open, Nu Skin has potential to treat you well.

Should this be the company for you, I wish you all the best!
